Founded in 1988, Taylor Environmental Group, Inc. is a full service environmental consulting company serving the public and private sectors in the greater New York area. We are a certified woman-owned business ('WBE') with an in-house microscopy laboratory, and a team of licensed and experienced environmental professionals able to address a complete range of environmental concerns.

Services include environmental site investigations, sample collection and analysis, prior survey research and analysis, abatement project design, and the preparation of technical specifications and drawings for project bidding.

 

Environmental assessments include surveys, sample collection and analysis for suspect asbestos, lead based paint, PCB containing caulk, universal waste and hazardous waste. Additionally, TEG routinely performs abatement project monitoring services for projects in the construction phase.

Our in-house microscopy laboratory is accredited by the NYS Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (‘ELAP’), and the National Voluntary Laboratory Approval Program (‘NVLAP).

As a NYS / NYC / Nassau County WBE, Taylor Environmental Group, Inc. has performed environmental consulting services as a prime consultant, and as a sub-consultant for A&E firms working directly for NYS / NYC agencies and authorities such as the NYC School Construction Authority, DASNY, OGS, and others.

The company maintains a NYS DOL Asbestos Handling License (#28622), a NYS DOL Mold Assessor License (#00206), a US EPA License to Conduct Lead-Based Paint Activities (#LBP-14135-1), and a NYS Department of Health Radioactive Materials License (#C2776).
